These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QuoteSeal mobile application and related website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who may use the Service
The Service is intended for business users such as contractors, trade professionals, and small service teams. You must have authority to bind the business entity you represent, if any.
2. The Service
QuoteSeal helps you create quotes, capture approvals, maintain evidence records, and generate related business documents. Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or remove functionality to improve the product or comply with law.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of quotes, customer details, tax settings, and invoices;
- Obtaining any required customer consent before collecting signatures or personal data;
- Complying with applicable trade, tax, invoicing, and consumer laws;
- Backing up important records and verifying exports before relying on them.
You retain ownership of content you enter into the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate the Service.
4. Not legal, tax, or accounting advice
QuoteSeal is a software tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or compliance advice. You should consult qualified professionals for questions about contracts, e-signature validity, tax treatment, or regulatory obligations in your jurisdiction.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service;
- Upload malware or content that infringes third-party rights;
- Misrepresent your identity or authorization to act for a business.
6. Availability and offline use
We strive to keep the Service reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Offline functionality depends on your device, storage, and app version. You are responsible for syncing, exporting, or backing up data as needed for your business.
7. Fees
Some features may be offered free during early access. Paid plans, if introduced, will be described separately before you are charged.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUOTESEAL AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where QuoteSeal operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Specific governing law may be updated as the business entity is formalized.
