What should a flooring estimate include?
Measured square footage, who supplies the material and the exact product name, subfloor prep and leveling terms, demolition and disposal, transitions and trim, furniture moving, and a signature line. Should flooring material be on my quote or the customer's?
Either way works, but never leave it ambiguous. If you supply, list the product, square footage with waste factor, and price. If the customer buys, note the required overage percentage and that install delays from short material are billable. Get it signed before ordering.
